Please explain why New York State law bans one of these guns and not the other

The more stable handgrip and mounting allows a shooter greater accuracy, which is very useful in self-defense and hunting, as one wants to hit the target. Refusal of gun control proponents to acknowledge this utility is consistent with their ultimate goal of disarmament - their "support of the 2ndA" is, of course, bogus.

The liberals trying to enact more gun laws have no experience or knowledge about laws/procedures that already exist when purchasing a gun. Also, they know nothing about the guns, either.

It's the nature of law that it has to draw a line between permissible and impermissible, and it's always possible to pick two similar cases, one from each side of the line, and sneer.

Parked 17.99" from the curb? Legal. Parked 18.01" from the curb? Parking ticket.

Sorry, kitandkat, but I don't see the analogy. The further that you go from the curve, the more you endanger traffic. I agree that you have to draw a line someplace. But in this issue involving guns there is no functional difference between the two guns shown here. One is not slightly more of a problem for society than the other. If you could explain why that is not the case, please enlighten us. Thanks.
